We are a well established business of a quarter of a century standing, specialising in 18th, 19th and 20th Century watercolours, oils, etchings and engravings, together with antiquarian, rare and out of print books on most subjects. We have a particular interest in maritime subjects and are well known nationally as a leading specialist in the works of William Lionel Wyllie, R.A. (1851-1931) and his contemporaries. We exhibit his works regularly at our gallery and are often called upon to give valuations and advice to both private clients and museums. We are also leading specialists, of many years standing, in the works of Martin Snape (1852-1930) and his brother William Snape (1862-1904).

Our restoration studio at the gallery will undertake high quality restoration of watercolours, etchings, oil paintings and engravings, together with a bespoke mounting and framing service using archival quality materials. Our many clients include private customers, local museums and institutions.
