Andre Elbaz was born in Morocco in 1934. His work has constantly evolved and he has explored themes as varied as clowns, the earthquake in Agadir in 1960 and the inquisition. He has also had a long association with art therapy and has contributed to other creative fields including cinema, theatre and mime.
Julian Trevelyan RA (1910-1988)

Born in Surrey in 1910, Julian Trevelyan was a renowned artist and printmaker. Initially gaining recognition for his 1930s surrealist prints, he later developed a passion for rural and industrial landscapes. He joined S.W. Hayter's famous print workshop in Paris in 1931 working alongside Ernst, Miro, Masson and Picasso and It was here that he began to develop his unique style, incorporating everyday objects and portraying them with a dreamlike and childlike quality. When he returned to England he set up his etching studio at Durham Wharf in Hammersmith where he remained until his death in 1988. From 1955-63, Trevelyan worked at the Royal College of Art and became head of the etching department, his students including Hockney, Kitaj and Ackroyd. He is now regarded as an important influence on the etching revolution of the 1960s.

John Jackson was born in 1938 at Kings Lynn and lived in a railway house at Harbour Junction beside the main Kings Lynn to London line. He produced his first linocut in 1953 and secured a place at the Norwich School of Art soon afterwards. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and also a member of the Society of Wood Engravers.
