Richard Bawden RWS NEAC RE is a painter, printmaker and designer. Born in 1936, the son of artist Edward Bawden RA, Richard studied at Chelsea, St Martin’s and the Royal College of Art.
His subject matter is wide-ranging - from his Hadleigh sitting room, cats, townscapes and landscapes. Based in Suffolk, Richard has had over fifty one man exhibitions at home and abroad, most recently a major retrospective at Gainsborough’s House in Suffolk. He is an elevated member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers (RE).
