The Old Cooperage, Cooperage Green, Royal Clarence Yard
The Royal Clarence Victualling Yard is an area of considerable historic importance; its origins dating back to c.1753. Since its closure in 1995, many of the fine listed buildings have been refurbished for both domestic and commercial use. The Old Cooperage, built c.1766, is one of the oldest buildings on the site and is situated just a few yards away from the Royal Clarence Marina and it's pleasant environs overlooking Portsmouth Harbour.
