Looking out of the harbour with Old Portsmouth to the left and part of Fort Blockhouse in Gosport just visible to the far right. During World War One the minesweeping steam launches sailed early every morning to check for German mines laid in the shipping lanes approaching Portsmouth during the night.
We only sell original etchings by Wyllie, each bearing his pencil signature to the lower margin. Framed in our studio using conservation materials.
