Richard Oakes is a Gosport artist. After gaining a BA Honours degree in Fine Art in 2005 he has exhibited widely in a number of galleries, ran an arts and crafts shop, painted large murals for various large companies as well as the Royal Navy, and has worked as a tattooist. He currently prefers paper to skin, and mostly using the medium of watercolour.
