Wyllie took a personal interest in the sea scouts having established the first troop in Portsmouth in 1907. This view, taken from the shore below Wyllie's home and studio at Tower House, depicts a group of scouts about to row to HMS Victory in order to make their "promise".
We only sell original etchings by Wyllie, each bearing his pencil signature to the lower margin. Framed in our studio using conservation materials.
